before I fall book / film review

I try to read the book before watching popular films and Before I Fall came out before I first got Netflix . 

I was looking everywhere on the internet for a copy of the dvd as I read the book in a day . 

in the end i signed up to Netflix and I regularly watch it on there.

The book is by Lauren Oliver and it starts on Valentine's Day, it introduces the main character Samantha waking up and getting ready for school. She meets her friends on the way to school . Then she goes to class and in class the popular girls like her get roses by people that like them. She gets one from a boy she used to know, and after class he invites her and her friends to a party. She then goes to lunch where she meets her boyfriend who she has Valentine's plans with that night but he agrees that they should go to the party first.

Everyone goes to the party and has a few drinks then a random girl who never goes to parties turns up and the main character and her friends bully her as they always bully people that are different from them. Then, stupidly,the girls decide to drive home playing music and arguing and their car hits something.

So the film Before I Fall follows the same story as the book and it is one of those films where the main character repeats the same day until they become a better person or moves on.

Before I Fall is one of my most watched films as it's good for self reflection and also it makes you want to do more with your life .
